Dr. Mark VonderEmbse, D.C.

North Columbus Chiropractic

“Focused on restoring movement and function through evidence-based chiropractic care”

Dr. Mark VonderEmbse was born and raised in northwestern Ohio, where his early exposure to healthcare—through both family involvement in medicine and chiropractic care for loved ones—sparked his interest in the field. Growing up active in sports and community service further shaped his passion for helping others maintain healthy, active lifestyles.

He pursued this passion at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Dr. Mark then went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from the National University of Health Sciences in the Chicago area. Following graduation, he returned to Columbus, where he has continued to serve patients in the same office since beginning his career.

Dr. Mark is dedicated to helping patients restore proper function so they can fully enjoy all aspects of life. His approach focuses not only on relieving current symptoms, but also on providing long-term solutions that support lasting improvement and mobility. He takes the time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns, allowing him to address the root cause of their condition rather than simply treating symptoms.

Committed to ongoing education, Dr. Mark has completed extensive training in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. His coursework includes the lumbar spine, cervical and thoracic spine, advanced lumbar spine and lower extremity, and advanced cervical and thoracic spine and upper extremity. This advanced training allows him to deliver targeted, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and son, whether relaxing at home or exploring the outdoors on camping trips. He stays active through cycling and running, and in his free time, he also enjoys fishkeeping, PC gaming, and horticulture.
